Educating YOU!

Why should you continue to learn everyday? I’m going to share my educational journey with you. Educating your life – brings you power – power to know what’s going on around you. Educating yourself makes you savvy in all that you do– always trying to learn more.

Growing up as a child, I never really valued education, I tried to just get by, going to school doing my homework, and making B’s and not even focusing to get A’s. But little did I know, that’s all that I really needed to get. I just need to get a passing grade, to get into a college, and that was my focus. All that I knew, was that I had to attend college, it really was not an option.

My mother at a young age instilled that college was the way. So I went to college like my mother had told me to. I actually enjoyed my college years, but there was part of me that wanted to get out, wanted to get out and have my undergrad completed, so I could move onto the next stage of my life, but who really at the age of 20 knows what the next stage of your life is, but that’s what I wanted.

When I graduated with my undergrad, I continued to work full-time, paying my bills and paying off my gigantic student loans that I have. I do still have them to this day as I write this. They will probably stick with me for a while, which leads me to why I had more student debt, because I continued and wanted to get my Masters degree.

Taking a year off after my undergrad I really decided that I loved education, I love the structure of education I should say. I didn’t necessarily like tests, let’s just be honest, I am not a huge fan of tests, I would go in prepared knowing all the content for the course for what the test is going to cover, and then the nerves started to creep in, the nerves were so bad, that I couldn’t even focus on the content that I had learned prior to taking the test. I was not a very good student in my college days, but I’m very thankful to have those college days carry with me now.
When I look at my education journey, I see the reason why I liked education and I like to learn, I loved the structure. What I mean by structure is a detailed amount of time, I knew what I was going to learn, and I knew what tasks and homework I needed to complete. As a very organized person this brought me a lot of happiness. I loved going to class the first day. I would never miss that day, the reason being, I loved getting a syllabus. A syllabus to define the next few months of my life. I like to know what to plan for, what I was going to learn, and what was expected of me. I wanted to know right away what I need to focus on in the months ahead during that course. Much of me went through the educational courses because I wanted structure in my life. And that’s where it leads me today.

Educating YOU!
I carry structure with me, some people might think that this is crazy, yes it is crazy, but I get a lot done because I had so much structure in my life. I value the education that I have received, that I have worked hard for, and has made me the person I am today. But just because I have a degree; doesn’t do much for my success with owning a business now, but I know the value of educating my self. Investing in webinars, conferences, bootcamps, academy’s, and anything else that comes up that will make me better in all that I do.
So why do I tell you all this? Because I love to teach, I love to educate people on what works and what doesn’t work for me. I believe that you can have all the education in the world, but you have to go out there and do it on your own, learn from your own mistakes, I believe much of many successes are because of personal experience. When I look back at my educational days, it has made me the person I am today, but if I would have surrounded myself with like-minded people, my dreams, and my goals probably would been a lot further ahead by now.

That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing my story, telling you what worked, and what didn’t work. Because that’s what makes people successful, learning from others. Grasping what others have to say. I want to tell you how I have been successful, and how I always want to be successful, I want you to take your goals and do the things that I’ve been doing, because I know that they work. It’s not taking my work, it’s not stealing my ideas, it’s about sharing my story, my story that I want you to hear and to use, to make your goals and dreams come true.
I’m a very passionate person in general, but I’m passionate about my relationships I make with people, I’m passionate about education and learning, I’m passionate about teaching people what works and what doesn’t work, I’m passionate about being successful and having to drive to be successful, I am passionate about my local community, I’m passionate about others being successful. I want to help you inspire yourself, become educated on what it takes, and to light “the fire in your belly”.
